Biography

William Dunn is a Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Alberta, specializing in language education. He earned his PhD from Cornell University in 2002. His research focuses on the connections between language learning and social inclusiveness, particularly examining the marginalization experiences of language learners and how these learners can develop a sense of belonging within their linguistic communities. Dunn has been involved in various funded research projects, focusing on curriculum development for language inclusion and the social interactions of students in higher education settings.
