Biography

Yakov M. Rabkin is a Professor Emeritus in the Department of History at the Université de Montréal, where he has been teaching since 1973. His fields of interest include contemporary Jewish history and the history of science. His publications, which consist of four books and around two hundred articles, focus on the relationship between religion and science. His latest book, titled "In the Name of the Torah: A History of Jewish Opposition to Zionism," provides an analysis of critiques of the State of Israel from various Jewish thinkers.
