Dr. Ying Gan

Biography

Ying Gan is an Associate Professor at the Erasmus School of Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam. Her research focuses on Executive Compensation, Corporate Governance, and the Economic Consequences of Increased Disclosure. Her work includes studies on Voluntary Disclosure and Mergers and Acquisitions. She has received multiple paper awards, including recognitions from the American Accounting Association's Southeast Region Section and the Governmental Accounting Auditing Research Center in China. Her academic contributions have significant implications for understanding how disclosure practices impact financial markets and corporate decision-making. Gan is also engaged in educational activities, teaching courses such as Financial Accounting Research.
