Dr. Yuhong Guo

Biography

Yuhong Guo is a Professor and Canada Research Chair in the School of Computer Science at Carleton University. He holds a PhD from the University of Alberta and has a deep expertise in various fields of artificial intelligence and machine learning. His research interests cover Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Medical Data Analysis. He is particularly focused on Representation Learning, Domain Adaptation, and Generalization, exploring advanced techniques such as Few-shot Learning, Zero-shot Learning, Continual Learning, and various forms of Learning like Weakly Supervised, Semi-supervised, Unsupervised, Self-Supervised, Reinforcement, Active, and Federated Learning. Guo leads the Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning Lab where he conducts innovative research aimed at enhancing machine intelligence capabilities.
