Biography

Associate Professor Zakaria Solaiman, born in Bangladesh, graduated with a BScAg (Honours) and MScAg (Soil Science) from Bangladesh Agricultural University, and obtained his PhD in Agriculture from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, Japan. He has 29 years of research and teaching experience across Australia, Bangladesh, and Japan. He is actively involved in industry-linked research projects aimed at sustainable and regenerative farming systems. His proficiency also encompasses supervising graduate students and contributing to various projects aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in the fields of soil biology and environmental sustainability.
