Biography

Zoe B. Cullen is an Associate Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School. She graduated with a PhD in Economics from Stanford University in 2016. Following her graduation, she served as the Chief Economist at an Asian bank, working on a digital transaction platform from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, she joined Harvard Business School as an Assistant Professor in the Entrepreneurial Management Unit, where she has focused on research related to labor market design, employer choices, pay transparency, pay inequality, and the impacts of criminal background screening. Cullen is an affiliate of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) in Labor Studies, an Associate Editor for the Journal of Political Economy, and an Alfred P. Sloan Fellow for the years 2024 to 2026.
