Biography

Zoë Firth is a Research Assistant at the CAMHS Digital Lab, which involves collaboration with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London and the South London Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Oxford and has completed a two-year Master of Science in Clinical Linguistics, with experiences at the Universities of Groningen, Potsdam, and Eastern Finland as part of the EMCL+ program. In her role at the CAMHS Digital Lab, Zoë works on a variety of projects that utilize digital methods for researching, assessing, and treating mental illness in children and young people, particularly focusing on speech analysis. Her research interests also encompass trauma-informed practice and the sustainability of mental healthcare. Zoë has prior experience in mental health service provision and has worked within clinical services in the charity sector. She is based in the Department of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
