Esma Aïmeur is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Operations Research at the Université de Montréal. She holds a PhD in artificial intelligence from the University of Paris 6. Her work focuses on computer security, e-Learning, and e-commerce by applying artificial intelligence techniques to process data. Her research interests include recommendation systems, personalization, social networks, awareness of personal data security, and privacy preservation. Aïmeur investigates various domains such as intelligent tutoring systems, human-computer interaction, learning strategies, and machine learning.
