Biography

Abdulsamad Humaidan is a lecturer currently teaching academic writing to international graduate and undergraduate students. He is a recipient of the Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship, funded by the U.S. Department of State through the U.S. Embassy in Yemen. Abdulsamad is pursuing an MA in TESOL and is completing his Ph.D. in Language, Literacies, Culture, and TESOL. He has taught English language programs in Yemen and the United States since 2005 and has been an active member of educational professional organizations since 2017. His research interests include the teaching and learning of English, technology in education, English for academic purposes, in-classroom assessment, and teacher education. Abdulsamad has co-presented over 20 research workshops and has co-published a book chapter, journal articles, and conference proceedings. He is dedicated to advancing the field of language education through rigorous research and innovative teaching practices.
