Biography

Alison Binney has been teaching on the Secondary PGCE English course since 2006. She teaches at the Netherhall School in Cambridge, focusing on preparing future educators to engage students in English literature and drama. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Alison is an accomplished poet whose debut pamphlet, 'Other Women's Kitchens', won the Mslexia Pamphlet Competition and was published by Seren Books in 2021. Alison is a member of the National Association for the Teaching of English (NATE) and is a founder of the Cambridge branch of the National Writing Project.
