Biography

Amna Ansari is an education specialist with over ten years of experience in the sector, serving in dynamic roles that include project management, research analysis, training, and consulting across multilateral, public, and private organizations. Her work has involved comprehensive technical assistance and cross-sectoral collaborations focused on policy work in South Asia and Africa. Currently, she leads a research project on the Learner Guide Programme co-delivered with CAMFED in Tanzania. Previously, she was the Research Lead for an independent evaluation of the FCDO-supported Girls’ Education Challenge programme, renowned as the largest global fund dedicated to girls’ education. Prior to joining the REAL Centre, Amna was the Team Lead on a Global Partnership for Education research-for-development project that optimized the use of Education Information Management Systems in GPE member countries. She has played a key role in developing education policies and plans at the provincial government level in Pakistan, supported by World Bank and FCDO-sponsored projects. In 2020, she was competitively selected as an Early Years Fellow in the Early Learning Partnership Fellowship program by the World Bank, collaborating with a global cohort across 30 countries to provide technical assistance for Early Childhood Development initiatives.
