Biography

Andy Frazee serves as the Director of the Writing Communication Program at the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, overseeing courses in first-year composition, business communication, and technical communication. He supervises the teaching, research, and professional development of Marion L. Brittain Postdoctoral Fellows and lecturers within the program. His scholarship focuses on writing program administration, pedagogy, and faculty development, with publications appearing in journals such as WPA: Writing Program Administration, Computers and Composition, and the IEEE International Professional Communication Conference Proceedings. He teaches a variety of courses, including first-year composition and technical communication, and facilitates postdoctoral seminars on multimodal pedagogy and technical communication pedagogy, as well as alternative career paths for PhDs. Frazee holds a PhD in English Creative Writing from the University of Georgia, an MFA in Creative Writing, and a BS in Advertising from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
