Biography

Anna Roffey is an Associate Professor (Teaching) at University College London’s Department of Chemistry, where she has been involved in various academic roles since 2017. She has served as the Programme Director for the MSc in Applied Analytical Chemistry and is a Postgraduate Taught Tutor. Roffey is the Connected Learning Lead and focuses on supporting modules and adapting blended teaching approaches for her departmental colleagues. Before joining UCL, she was a Teaching Fellow at King’s College London from 2016 to 2017 and completed a postdoctoral research position at Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. She holds a Doctorate in Inorganic Materials Chemistry from University College London, and a Master of Science from the University of Bristol. As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Roffey is committed to enhancing educational practices in higher education. Her research interests encompass various aspects related to chemistry and sustainable development goals.
