Professor Dr. Anne Petersen

Biography

Anne Kristine Petersen is an Associate Professor at the University College Absalon and a PhD fellow at Aalborg University, Copenhagen, Denmark. Her research focuses on the implementation of digital technologies to support educational designs, enhancing accessibility to higher and further education. She employs a methodological approach grounded in educational design research, particularly in the fields of distance education, e-learning, blended learning, and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). Currently, Petersen is developing playful approaches to foreign language teaching and learning through her PhD project, which utilizes Design-Based Research methods. She aims to create engaging educational experiences that cater to diverse learning contexts. With numerous publications and ongoing projects, Petersen is an active contributor to the field of educational technology and research, continuously seeking to improve the learning process for students in various educational settings.
