Biography

Antero Garcia is a Professor at the Graduate School of Education at Stanford University and serves as Vice President of the National Council of Teachers of English. His research explores the possibilities of speculative imagination and healing within educational contexts. Prior to earning his Ph.D., he was an English teacher in a public high school in South Central Los Angeles.
