Biography

Beth Martin is a Division Chair and Professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy. Her research focuses on educational methodologies aimed at enhancing pharmacist-patient interactions and improving learning outcomes. She has developed interventions based on established frameworks such as Self-Efficacy Theory and Motivational Interviewing, and has extensively researched patient behavior change and pharmacist practice enhancements. Since joining the faculty in 1998, she has implemented Objective Structured Clinical Exams (OSCEs) and has co-coordinated interprofessional practice education experiences for health sciences students.
