Biography

Betty Chandy, Ed.D., is the Director of Technology Integration Learning Design at Catalyst @ Penn GSE, where she focuses on connecting learning sciences, online instruction, and emerging technologies to support educators and school systems. Her research and program design efforts explore online learning, computational thinking, teacher development, and the role of new technologies in expanding student opportunities. Dr. Chandy has collaborated with educators across the U.S., India, and the Middle East, and is an invited speaker on topics such as AI, innovation in teaching, and the future of learning. She earned her doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education.
