Dr. Brandi Junious

Biography

Brandi Junious leads global diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts across multiple industries, transforming multinational corporations, firms, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and local governments through the tactical interweaving of DEI practices into various facets of business structure. Her areas of focus include organizational wellness, strategic workforce diversity planning, pay equity analysis, remediation, DEI-centered change management, and workplace culture assessment, along with the creation of professional learning programs. Brandi has collaborated with Fortune 100 and 500 companies, media leaders, technology firms, higher education institutions, and community-based organizations to advance DEI efforts, impacting thousands of employees and their surrounding communities. She serves as an adjunct professor at USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, teaching the graduate-level course Managing Complexity in Diverse Organizations and is a recognized keynote speaker in her field. Junious’ efforts through the USC Race Equity Center have been featured in various publications including CUPA-HR’s Higher Ed HR Magazine and Diverse: Issues in Higher Education. In addition, she is an internationally recognized artivist and the founder and CEO of Beacon Light Whole-Person Wellness, a nonprofit organization dedicated to research and programming designed to improve whole-person wellness through creative therapies and holistic healing. As a trauma-informed certified therapeutic art life coach, she teaches individuals to use art as a pathway to healing and restoration.
