Biography

Cathlene Hillier is an Associate Professor in Curriculum Studies at the University of Saskatchewan, where her academic and research interests are centered around the intersection of children's use of digital technologies and learning. With a background as an elementary school teacher in Ontario, she brings a wealth of practical experience to her teaching and research. Dr. Hillier is passionate about engaging with prospective B.Ed. students to cultivate creative and culturally responsive teaching methods in Social Studies. Her research has explored the complexities of school-family relationships, and her Ph.D. work examined factors affecting children's literacy achievements.
