Dr. Celeste Wilderom

Biography

Celeste P.M. Wilderom is a Professor Emeritus in Change Management and Organizational Behavior at the University of Twente, Netherlands. She earned her Ph.D. in Psychology from the State University of New York in 1987 and has held various academic positions, notably as a full professor at both the University of Twente and Tilburg University. Wilderom's research primarily focuses on leader-behavioral determinants that contribute to effective organizational functioning, emphasizing change management, team dynamics, and workplace culture. She employs both quantitative and qualitative methods, including longitudinal surveys and video-based behavioral observations, to study these phenomena. Throughout her career, she has supervised numerous Ph.D. students, many of whom have won prestigious awards for their dissertations. She is also an editorial board member for several high-impact academic journals in management and organizational studies.
