Biography

Christopher Brooks is an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan's School of Information, where he is engaged in applied computer science and the study of educational technologies in both higher education and informal learning environments. His research focuses on data science education and includes methodological interests in predictive modeling, learning analytics, and collaborative learning. Brooks has published numerous papers in the fields of educational technologies and human-computer interaction, notably in prestigious venues such as the Learning Analytics and Knowledge (LAK), Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED), Computer-Human Interaction (CHI), and Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) conferences.
