Biography

Demetri L. Morgan is an associate professor at the University of Michigan's Marsal Family School of Education, focusing on higher education's role in fostering diverse democracy. His research emphasizes how individuals navigate and transform socio-political systems through student political engagement and activism, the influence of culturally sustaining governance, and the development of sustainable approaches to STEM education. As Co-Director of the Center for Strategic & Inclusive Governance, he collaborates between the University of Michigan and the University of California, Riverside.
