Dr. Dorottya Sallai

Biography

Dorottya Sallai is an Associate Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science in the Department of Management. She serves as Education Assessment Innovation Lead and is the Chair of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Working Group. Her research focuses on management education, particularly the integration of digital technologies, simulation games, and generative AI into teaching and assessment practices. She explores how organizations and leaders navigate institutional transitions at the intersection of management, politics, AI, education, and policy. Her interests include executive decision-making, foreign direct investment shaped by global political changes, and the impacts of populism and generative AI on education. Dorottya has received numerous awards for teaching excellence, including the LSE’s Outstanding Teaching Award. She is involved in several research projects aimed at integrating AI into management education. Dorottya’s professional background includes consulting for EU institutions, advising both public and private organizations. She is an affiliate of the LSE’s Data Science Institute and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She teaches courses on Leading Organisational Change, Organisational Behaviour and Leadership, and Negotiations.
