Biography

Elisa Nadire Caeli is a researcher at Aarhus University, specializing in the development of technological understanding among primary and lower secondary school students, with a focus on pedagogical perspectives on the necessity of technological education. Her work emphasizes human-centered, democratic, and ethical approaches to the design and use of digital technologies. She has a PhD in Educational Research with a concentration in Computational Thinking from Aarhus University, completed between 2018-2021. Additionally, she has obtained a Master of Arts in Learning and Innovative Change and has extensive experience in various educational programs related to information and communication technology (ICT). Over the years, she has held positions such as a visiting researcher at Michigan State University, contributing to multiple projects and research outputs focused on ICT in education and computational thinking. Her experience includes teaching and program development in higher education and collaborations on international educational studies. Caeli is recognized for her contributions to workshops and conferences, actively disseminating knowledge about technological literacy in Danish schools and the broader educational landscape.
