Biography

Erika Majoros is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Umeå University in the Department of Applied Educational Science. Majoros' research focuses on large-scale educational assessments, psychometrics, affective educational outcomes, and assessment accommodations for visual impairment. She earned her PhD from the University of Gothenburg, being a participant in the OCCAM Project (Outcomes Causal Inference International Comparative Assessments), which is part of the European Training Network under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks funded by the European Commission's Horizon 2020 framework. Her PhD project investigated links between recent trends in older International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement (IEA) studies in mathematics and science and aims to contribute to the understanding of educational assessment methods.
