Biography

Fiona Patrick is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Glasgow, specifically within the School of Education. She is a member of the Cultures, Literacy, Inclusion Pedagogy research teaching group (CLIP) and the University of Glasgow Educational Assessment Network. She employs qualitative interpretivist approaches, particularly inductive thematic analysis and narrative synthesis in her research. Fiona's work has contributed significantly to various literature reviews and educational reports commissioned by the Scottish Government, including those informing teacher education practices in Scotland. Her teaching philosophy revolves around the integration of theory and research into the classroom, engaging students in reflective and research-led learning.
