Biography

Giannis Efthymiou is an Assistant Professorial Research Fellow at the International Inequalities Institute, focusing on innovative pedagogy. He holds a PhD in Global Learning/Global Citizenship Education from IOE, UCL’s Faculty of Education and Society, where he completed his research at the Development Education Research Centre. His current research focuses on unveiling the notions of 'innovative pedagogy' in the higher education sector and exploring how education practitioners can embed 'global citizenship education' in their practice.
