Dr. Helena Granziera

Biography

Helena Granziera is a Senior Lecturer in Educational Psychology at the University of New South Wales. She completed her PhD in Educational Psychology at UNSW, focusing on factors and processes associated with teacher well-being and motivation, and their relation to broader school and student outcomes. Her passion lies in promoting positive health and well-being for teachers at individual, school, and organizational levels. Helena has a background as a primary school PDHPE teacher and has spent eight years teaching gifted and talented students in New South Wales primary schools. She has also taught undergraduate and postgraduate units in Educational Psychology, Human Development, and Primary Curriculum Methods. Helena is actively engaged in research that seeks to identify and address the stressors in the teaching profession, contributing to broader educational reforms and teacher support initiatives.
