Jacqueline Mackaway is an experienced lecturer at Macquarie University, specializing in the integration of work-related learning within higher education. She has obtained her PhD from Macquarie University, with a focus on sociology in education, specifically addressing the dynamics of work-integrated learning and its implications for inclusivity and diversity in educational practices. Mackaway has received recognition for her contributions to teaching, including the prestigious Macquarie University's Judyth Sachs PACE Staff Award. Her research spans several areas within the sociology of work and education, emphasizing employability and the evolving nature of work in relation to educational programs. Furthermore, she is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, reflecting her commitment to high-quality teaching.
