Biography

Jan McCall is an Associate Tutor in Physical Education at the University of Edinburgh. She has a background in teaching, having worked as a Teaching Fellow and Associate Tutor. Jan is a member of the Developmental Physical Education Group (DPEG), which focuses on curriculum innovation, pedagogy, and professional learning policy for teacher educators and researchers. Notably, she led the development and launch of a new physical education resource for pre-school children in partnership with the City of Edinburgh in March 2012, tracking its impact on adults and children since August 2012.
