Dr. Jason Hall

Biography

Jason Hall is a Professor in Pharmacy Education at the University of Manchester. He leads the Drug Usage Pharmacy Practice Group and is responsible for teaching the MPharm degree, focusing on Pharmacist and Patient Public units. Since joining the group in 1999, Jason has also worked as a Pharmaceutical Adviser in Health Authorities across Scotland and England, in addition to his role as a community pharmacist and teacher for pharmacy technicians. His research interests encompass non-medical prescribing decision making, professionalism in teaching, interprofessional education, and team-based learning within pharmacy education. Jason has participated in various projects, including a previous initiative exploring the role of transfer practice in teaching and assessing professionalism in pharmacy education. He is also an editor at Oxford University Press for Pharmacy Practice. With a strong background in teaching and development within the pharmacy profession, Jason has engaged in numerous collaborations and external committee roles, contributing to advancements in pharmacy education and practice.
