Dr. Jeremy Knox

Biography

Jeremy Knox is an Associate Professor in Digital Education at the University of Oxford and an Official Fellow at Kellogg College. His research interests focus on relationships in education, data-driven technologies, and their impact on wider society. He has led several projects funded by the Economic and Social Research Council and the British Council in the UK. Prior to his current position, Jeremy served as the co-Director of the Centre for Research in Digital Education at the University of Edinburgh, where he contributed significantly to the field of educational research. He is currently co-convening the Society for Research in Higher Education Digital University network. Jeremy's publications include works like 'AI Education China' (2023), 'Data Justice Right City' (2022), 'Manifesto Teaching Online' (2020), and 'Artificial Intelligence Inclusive Education' (2019). His earlier work includes a course on Posthumanism and Massive Open Online Courses (2016). His research continues to influence the integration of digital technologies within education.
