Biography

Jing Qiu works at Washington University St. Louis as a math instructional specialist at the Institute School Partnership. She designs and facilitates professional learning addressing the implementation of high-quality mathematics instruction for K-12 teachers, building administrators, and district leaders. Qiu co-leads a research practice partnership involving math teachers studying problems of practice related to math identity and belonging, launching cognitively demanding tasks, and vocabulary acquisition for multilingual learners.
