Biography

Judith Hillier is an Associate Professor of Science Education at the University of Oxford, where she serves as the PGCE Course Director at Kellogg College since 2007. With a background in physics, Judith completed her degree at the University of St Andrews and obtained her PhD in condensed matter physics from the University of Leeds and the Institut Laue-Langevin in Grenoble. Judith is also a recipient of the Marie Curie-Sklodowska Medal Prize from the Institute of Physics, recognizing her significant contributions to supporting women in physics and her work on physics teacher education.
