Dr. Kevin Corley

Biography

Kevin Corley is the Head of the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at Imperial College London, where he focuses on understanding how individuals and organizations approach change. He provides leaders with tools to effectively implement organizational change through strategic thinking, adaptability, power influence, and negotiations. With a combination of academic and industry experience, Kevin has a career-long interest in leading organizational change, often questioning "Why do people experience change the way they do?" He is widely published in top journals, including the Academy of Management Journal and Administrative Science Quarterly, and emphasizes qualitative research methods. Named a 2022 Distinguished Scholar by the Academy of Management, Kevin has served as an associate editor and is currently active on editorial boards. He has collaborated with Fortune 100 organizations and smaller businesses, bringing his insights from a diverse range of industries. Kevin earned his undergraduate degree in Business from Miami University (Ohio) and obtained his Ph.D. in Business from Pennsylvania State University, focusing on Organizational Behavior. His academic career includes positions at the University of Illinois, Urbana–Champaign, and the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, where he became a Professor in 2014. Recently, he served as a visiting professor at IE Business School in Madrid, Spain, and has delivered talks at various prestigious business schools across Europe and North America.
