Biography

Khaled Barkaoui is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Education, York University, where he specializes in language assessment and language education. He obtained his MA in Linguistics from the University of Manouba, Tunisia, and his PhD in Language Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. Khaled has led multiple research projects funded by organizations such as Duolingo and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, focusing on the assessment of English language learners and the validation of assessment tools.
