Biography

Kyuwon Moon received a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Stanford University and holds both a B.A. and M.A. in Korean Language Literature from Seoul National University in Korea. Before joining Brown University, he taught Korean at Boston University and conducted courses in Linguistics at various Korean institutions. At Brown, he is enthusiastic about teaching introductory and intermediate level Korean courses. His current research interests focus on phonetic variation in language and speech, along with the pedagogical implications of addressing gender in the language classroom.
