Biography

Dr. Laberge obtained a bachelor's degree in occupational therapy in 1994 and subsequently specialized in ergonomics (M.Sc. 1995, PhD 2011). Her research program focuses on the prevention of work disability from adolescence. She is interested in the differences in exposure to certain risk factors among subpopulations, and their effects on occupational health: gender differences, age, socio-economic status, cultural background, etc. She holds the Canada Research Chair in preventing work disability from adolescence.
