Marju Toomsalu holds a B.A. teaching certificate in English Language Literature from Tartu University, Estonia and an M.A. in Language Education from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. Marju joined the English Department at Ryerson University in 2003 and has served as an EAL Programs Director since 2007.
