Dr. Michelle Inness

Biography

Michelle Inness is an Associate Professor at the Alberta School of Business, specializing in the Department of Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Management. She also serves as the Associate Dean of the Undergraduate Office at the Alberta School of Business. Her research focuses on work well-being, occupational health and safety, workplace aggression, employee thriving, resilience, meaningful work, workplace safety, and political psychology work. Inness has published notable work, including a study on supervisor-targeted aggression, contributing significantly to the field of applied psychology. Through her teaching, she aims to provide students with a comprehensive introduction to the business environment, enhancing their entrepreneurial thinking, data analysis skills, and ethical decision-making capabilities. Her courses are particularly designed to engage students in practical business challenges and improve their leadership and communication skills.
