Mienke Droop has been affiliated with Radboud University as an assistant professor in Education Science since 2012. She earned her PhD from Radboud University in 1999, focusing her research on the development of reading comprehension skills among NT2 learners from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds in primary education. Following her doctorate, she worked at the Expertise Center for Dutch, conducting various studies on effective language didactics.
