Dr. Natalie Wagner completed her PhD in Psychology at McMaster University in 2019. Her work focused on developing, implementing, and evaluating competency-based curricula for surgical trainees. Since joining the Faculty of Health Sciences at Queen’s University in October 2019, Dr. Wagner has served as a postdoctoral fellow, evaluating the implementation of online learning and competency-based education in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. As a developer and instructor, she teaches HSCI 190, Introduction to Statistics. Additionally, Dr. Wagner holds research affiliations with the McMaster Department of Surgery, the Queen’s Office of Professional Development in Educational Scholarship, Queen’s Postgraduate Medicine, and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, where she conducts qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods research in medical education.
