I am responsible for KTH's courses in French for engineers (A1-B2 levels) and have area responsibility for Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, German, and intercultural communication. In recent years, I have worked to develop French courses with a specific orientation for future engineers (language specific purposes). I am also actively driving the development of courses for the future of higher education, including through the creation of new formats, digital tools, and blended learning environments. I participate in the research cluster Communication STEM and the network for the European university alliance Unite. I have always had a strong interest in languages and other cultures. Multilingualism and intercultural competence are issues that have always characterized my professional assignments. I concurrently work for other institutions, international organizations, and Swedish authorities such as the Ministry of Government Affairs, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Sida, as a language consultant and translator. I also have experience in exchange programs in West Africa. I have a background in linguistics focusing on language learning and hold a PhD from Stockholm University.
Master's programs are organized under Schools; departments listed are units within these schools (e.g., EECS, ABE, CBH, ITM, SCI).
