Dr. Paul Tarc

Biography

Paul Tarc is a professor in the Faculty of Education at Western University, specializing in critical policy, equity leadership, and international education. His academic background includes a B.Sc. from the University of Waterloo, a B.Ed. and M.Ed. from Queen's University, and a Ph.D. from York University. Tarc's research primarily focuses on progressive critical pedagogies, international education, and the processes of learning and identity formation within global contexts. He has extensive teaching experience in K-12 settings across South America and Southeast Asia. Tarc has published several influential works, including books on the International Baccalaureate and globalization in education, contributing significantly to the discourse on education's role in a globalized world.
