Philip Fisher is the Diana Chen Professor of Early Childhood Learning at Stanford University and the Director of the Stanford Center on Early Childhood. His research focuses on developing and evaluating scalable early childhood interventions within communities, translating scientific knowledge to promote healthy development in conditions of adversity through social policy and programs. Fisher has developed the Filming Interactions to Nurture Development (FIND) video coaching program to support parenting in home environments and to aid early childhood care and education professionals in preschool contexts. He has published over 250 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the 2012 Society for Prevention Research Translational Science Award and becoming a Fellow of the American Psychological Association in 2019.
