Biography

Richard Bale is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at Imperial College London's Centre for Higher Education Research and Scholarship (CHERS). He oversees academic development and has contributed significantly to educational development initiatives, including designing the Graduate Teaching Assistant Programme (GTAP) that is accredited by Advance HE. With a rich background as a Senior Teaching Fellow, Richard has previously taught at Brunel University London and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Switzerland. He earned his PhD focusing on corpus-based interpreter education and language learning from the University of Surrey in 2013.
