Biography

Robyn Wing, MD, MPH, FAAP is an Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Providence College and obtained her medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Following her medical schooling, Dr. Wing completed a pediatric residency, where she served as chief resident at the University of Massachusetts Children’s Medical Center, and subsequently pursued a fellowship in pediatric emergency medicine at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. She also earned a Master of Public Health degree from the Brown University School of Public Health. Currently, Dr. Wing is an attending physician in the pediatric emergency department at Hasbro Children’s Hospital and serves as the Director of Pediatric Simulation at the Lifespan Medical Simulation Center. Her professional focus includes pediatric emergency medicine, quality improvement in medical education, and simulation-based graduate medical education. Dr. Wing’s research interests are in simulation-based airway skills training, competency assessment, teamwork training, and the use of simulation in medical education within community settings. In 2022, she was awarded the American College of Emergency Physicians Junior Faculty Teaching Award and is a co-founder and co-chair of the National Emergency Airway Registry for Pediatric Emergency Medicine (NEAR4PEM).
