Biography

Roland Ebert-Glang is a research associate in the Department of Empirical Instruction and School Research at the Institute of Education at Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree under the supervision of Professor Matthias Nückles. His research focuses on how to impart pedagogical and didactic argumentation skills to teacher education students, which are necessary for successful lesson planning and reflection. The goal is to promote evidence-based actions and decisions among future teachers. He is involved in the TEBER (Teachers’ Evidence-Based Reasoning) project. In addition to his research, he offers courses in research methods and E-Learning. He is currently responsible for evaluating teaching quality, managing the website, and marketing for academic programs at the university.
