Biography

Sarbari Bordia is a Professor and Deputy Director (Research) at the Research School of Management. His multi-disciplinary expertise spans management, applied linguistics, international education, qualitative research methodology, and social sciences. Sarbari's research interests lie at the intersection of linguistics and corporate communication, specifically studying the role of linguistic identity in international business and migrant workplace contexts. He also conducts research on the internationalization of management education. Sarbari has published extensively in leading academic journals, including the Journal of International Business Studies, Human Relations, and the Journal of Applied Social Psychology. Additionally, he was a founding co-editor of the Journal of International Education in Business from 2007 to 2021 and is a research affiliate at the Global Institute for Women's Leadership at ANU.
