Biography

Stavroula Andreopoulos is a Professor in the Teaching Stream at the University of Toronto’s Department of Biochemistry. She holds both an M.Sc. and a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto. With a strong background in biochemical research conducted at the University of Athens and the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, she initially focused on the molecular mechanisms of soluble guanylyl cyclase and lithium regulation of TRPC ion channels in bipolar disorder.
